At the moment we are working on the final reports in the office of the Hangar 21 and upgrade our homepages.
On 05. August at 6 pm Kultur & Art Initiative shows the variety of contemporary short film production at the Marta Café. Different contributions between cheerful scenarios, artistic experiments and narrative miniatures from their “International Short Film Festival Detmold”. You will find Details here.
To the Datca International Cinema and Culture Festival we the Kultur und Art Initiative will care for the international Short Film program. We will show the visitors interesting Short films from different countries. Datça International Cinema and Culture Festival is an cultural-art activity which artist of high prominence in cinema and culture with works on national and international level attend to, within scope of which feature and short films are screened and meetings are held on the theme selected annually, which is enriched with exhibitions, street and park performances and which is performed at the end of summer.
In the time from the 10. – 13. June we execute the 6th International Short Film Festival . Many people had a lot of fun during the Festival as well as the Organizers.

At this Time we’re working on a Get your own Picture on tour workshop. They’re taking place in Lemgo and Bielefeld. Besides a workshop in Brakel in autumn. Together with Film experts we will create a Shortfilm. More Details here:
What is the worth of the Time for a teenager who got a young offender sentence? Freedom, comeback and living are the goal of this youth. For this they want to fight together. Can you create a new world in prison? Prisoners are talking about the daily grind, problems and wishes for the future in their music. They all have a dream. Why me? During the 6th International Short Film Festival we enforced another youth exchange. The Persons from Barcelona, London, Antalya, Istanbul and Detmold spent a wonderful time together. In cooperation with Film experts we created 6 great short films. If you’re interested in these Films you can find them on YouTube In June 2011 we will start another workshop. Our “insider tip”reaches a large, local Detmold audience. We put a lot of love in our newest Project “Cinema 21” to give Detmold
an alternative and special Cinema. We show the people more than just
Blockbusters. We give Detmold the chance to see more than just the
Storefront, to see Films with different Eyes and to discus about the
story. Our purpose is to bring different people with different
cultures together.

The first music project of Kultur & Art Initiative ”WORLD WIDE GANG PROJECT” also starts in February. The project begins with a Germany tour of the Polnish ska and reggae band ,,Majestic”! You can find the exact dates, songs and videos at . Now the “World Wide Gang Project” is organizing scenes in Poland from the Band: “Die G*Hör-Gang” in the time from the 05.-09. Of August 2010. More information about the music project are coming online soon.
We worked on a documentation of Fastination Mythos which we organized in summer 2009. The DVD contains documentations about the "Shademakers" and "The Lunatics".
